Wedding Dog Chaperone

We want to meet you and your furry family member. This can be done before the booking of becoming your wedding dog chaperone, just after the booking or closer to your wedding day.  

It can be arranged that we collect them from your wedding venue, a family/friend's house, their own home, a boarders or kennels.

Whilst it is  great having them at your wedding, we need to also make sure their needs are met.  This would include feeding, walking and ensuring they have access to water. We will make sure they are clean if they get muddy prior to their moment in the lights.  Dogs need time out as well, as all the humans can be exhausting for them so we would ensure they have breaks away when required.

Maybe you have decided you want them for the ceremony, just photos and/or mingling with guests.  This is entirely down to what you as a couple want and what the venue allows. We can be flexible. You can have us there for a minimum of two hours up to a full day which is 10am until midnight. 

For the ceremony we can walk them down the aisle for you or hand them over to who you have chosen in your bridal party to do this duty.  When it comes to photo time we can assist with getting your dog into position and looking at the camera.  Mingling is exciting for them when all their favourite people are there but it is exhausting too. Definitely consider how long your dog is doing this for. 

Do you want your pooch in something for their special moment whether it is for the ceremony or photos? This can include items such as a matching bow tie to the kilt, floral collar, mini sporran or even just a decorative lead. The list can go on. We are happy to ensure they are dressed to impress.

After they have completed their main duties, do you want them to stay at the venue mingling? Or stay in accommodation at the venue? They can also be dropped off at kennels/boarders. Do you want us to take them home and stay overnight with them?  We will of course walk them, feed etc if we are staying with them at your property or venue.

Prices range from £50 to £350 (plus travel charge depending on location and where your dog(s) have to be left). £350 (plus possible travel charge) is having me on site from 10am until midnight. The £50 (plus possible travel charge) is just 2 hours. We can quote for 2hrs to a full day or over night and everything in between.  A 40% or £40 (whichever is higher) deposit secures the date and the rest is due a month before your big day.
